Obituary
Ms. Carolyn Marie Hartley, 93, a resident of Williston, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the Haven Hospice care center in Chiefland, FL.
Born on November 8, 1931, in Fort White, Florida, to parents Virgil and Vera Pope. Carolyn lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Williston, Florida, where she nurtured her strong Christian faith. She found great joy in reading her Bible and sharing Gods word with those around her, especially her beloved family.
Carolyn had a deep love for growing plants and flowers, finding beauty and peace in nature. Her greatest joy, however, was the time spent with her family. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Kirk I. Hartley Sr., and a loving mother to her children: Kirk Hartley (Debbie), Kevin Hartley, and Kim Hartley Vogel (Randy). She was also blessed with five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She will be remembered as a wonderful loving and caring wife, mother, Nana, and friend whose kindness and unwavering faith touched the lives of many.
A private funeral service will be held for immediate family.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Carolyns memory to Haven Hospice care center in Chiefland, Florida. The family also expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Haven Hospice staff for their exceptional care during her final days.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Chiefland.
