Curtis Dyess, Jr.

Mr. Curtis Eli Dyess, Jr., passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 as a result of an accident. He was 46. He was a native of Marion County and was an industrial millwright/boiler maker. He was a member of the Citrunelle Baptist Church and his hobbies were singing, fishing, boating, camping, riding his motorcycle, and he especially enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Survivors are: father, Curtis Eli Dyess, Sr.; mother, Beth Dyess; 3 sons, Bobby Carl Antrobus, Curtis Eli Dyess, III, and Lee Garrett Dyess; 1 daughter, Shantell Lucile Dyess; 3 brothers, Michael Eugene Dyess, Richard Thomas Dyess, and Shawn Patrick Dyess; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jayden Marie Dyess. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Knauff Funeral Home Chapel - Williston, with Pastor Jerry Philman officiating. Burial will follow at the Cherry Sink Cemetery near Romeo, under the direction of Knauff Funeral Home - Williston. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. SERVICES Funeral Service
