Obituary
Lura “Alice” Kinzer, of Williston FL, passed away at the age of 82 years old on Tuesday February 24, 2026. She is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Alice and Willie D. Kinzer met while both working at General Electric and have been married for 46 years. Together they have five children; her daughters Deborah Cohen and Dorinda Nobles, and her stepdaughters Cindy Zevolo, Janet Germany, and Angela Rowe.
Alice enjoyed working and helping others. Not many people can say they truly mastered one career, let alone two, but Alice did just that with her time at General Electric and later, equally impactful years as an International Sales Representative at Bear Archery.
Over the years, Alice was a faithful member of the Williston Church of God where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed ski trips with her husband and family vacations to the mountains. For a short time, Alice came out of retirement and worked part-time at Badcock Furniture. She also enjoyed sitting outside in her swing drinking her morning coffee. Alice was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family deeply.
Alice was preceded in death by her father Luther Wade, her mother, Maggie Wade and her brother Milton Wade.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years Willie D. Kinzer, her two daughters Deborah and Dorinda, her three stepdaughters Cindy, Janet, and Angela, and her sister Beatrice Withey. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Williston Church of God on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. The service will be officiated by Pastor Wes Smith and Pastor Keith Langford. Burial will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery under direction of Weems & Sons Funeral Home, Williston, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked to please donate to any Alzheimer's Foundation that will
help find a cure for this terrible disease.
