Obituary
Tim “Skeeter” Rodgers, born January 26, 1960, in Gainesville Florida, passed away December 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
He was the son of Tim and Mary Rodgers (deceased) and the brother of Redonna Gelske, Linda Gayle Watson, Steve Rodgers (deceased) and Rhonda Holton.
July 24, 1984, Skeeter married the love of his life Charlotte (Blitch) and together they shared many years of marriage built on love, dedication, hard work and family. Skeeter was the proud father to Josh Rodgers and Becca (Scott) Eckert. He was a devoted Pop to his grandchildren Madison and Tanner Rodgers, and Castin, Dawson, Caleb and Kelsey Eckert, each who brought him great joy.
He also leaves his chosen brothers James (Rat) Dees – Sons Brandon (Kendall, Case) and Kyle Dees, Tommy (Traci) – Son Clay and Matt (Penny) Fultz – Sons Matt and Travis Fultz, and many friends.
Skeeter worked as a house mover, painter, carpenter and concrete mason, taking great pride in honest physical work and a job well done. Outside of work, he enjoyed all things PDS Airboats, hunting and spending time with friends and family.
Skeeter will be remembered for his strong work ethic, loyalty to those he loved, and the simple joys of life. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the family he loved deeply.
A funeral service will be held at Weems and Sons Funeral Home in Williston on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior for a visitation. Reverend Melissa Pisco will officiate with burial following at Rosemary Hill Cemetery in Bronson.
