Mary Stegall

Mary Carolyn Sullivan Stegall went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on April 2nd, 2021. This was on the day that Christ paid the ultimate price for our sins. Mary was born on November 5th, 1942 to James and Clara Sullivan on their family farm in Williston, FL. She received the nickname "Snookie" during her childhood from her Father. Mary graduated from Williston High School where she was the Manager of the Basketball Team and married her husband David, of 60 Years on March 3rd, 1961. She was a nurse for Dr. McCoy Sr. for many years before going to work as a nurse in medical records at Lowell Prison. Mary was a Member of the Women's Club, Golden Girls Club and a Lifelong Member of the First Baptist Church. She loved God, her Family, Fishing, Hunting, Shopping, and Attending all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildrens milestones and events. Her favorite passion was her family. She always put her family first even as she went to be with Jesus. She was there for all of them, even through her hard times. There was never an event or milestone that she missed in all of her years. She was known to everyone as Nana and she Loved & Supported All. Anyone who knew Nana, was loved by them and become her family. Her heart and smile was larger than life. She carries this legacy over to her loving family. She has touched so many Mary is preceded in death by both of her Parents James and Clara Sullivan Survived By: Husband, David Stegall Brother, Gary Sullivan (Barbara) of Bronson Children, Lamar Stegall (Darlene) and Lisa Reynolds (Mike) of Williston Grandchildren, Heather(Nick) Ergle, Benton(Amanda) Stegall, Seth(Chelsea) Spencer, Brent(Rae) Stegall, Ryan(Danyal) Spencer, Kyle(Samantha) Spencer, Madison Reynolds and Michael Reynolds Nine Great Grandchildren and Countless Nieces and Nephews There will be a viewing held on Monday, April 5th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Knauff Funeral Home of Williston and Funeral Services will be at 2:00PM Tuesday, April 6th at First Baptist Church of Williston. Mary requested in Lieu of Flowers that Donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Williston Childrens Ministry. The Children are our hope for the future!
