Phyllis Casas

Phyllis Rae Casas, of Bronson, FL passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 after a brief illness at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, FL. She was 77. Ms. Casas was born in Creswell, NC on February 5, 1943. She was a homemaker and worked in childcare and retail. Ms. Casas is survived by her daughter, Deborah Dupree (Greg), son, Thomas A. Casas, uncle, Elmo Phelps (Violet) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Bronson, FL. Interment will follow at the Rosemary Hill Cemetery in Bronson, FL. Ms. Casas is under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland, FL (352)493-4777.
