Emmer Weeks

Mrs. Emmer Lee Weeks, 88, of Chiefland, passed away on 1/10/21 at Haven Hospice in Chiefland. Visitation will be held at Knauff Funeral Home Chapel of Chiefland on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm with Brother Mack Huggins and Brother Wayne Williams officiating. . Funeral service will be held at Knauff Funeral Home on January 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Antioch Family Cemetery. Emmer was born in Otter Creek, FL to the late Henry Walker and Sudie Walker on April, 14th 1932. Emmer worked at Georgia Pacific and raised her 5 children with her husband, Jim Frank Weeks, in Chiefland. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed puzzles, cards, crocheting, visiting with her family and friends. Emmer is preceded by the death of her parents, Henry and Sudie; Husband of 50 years, Jim Frank Weeks; two brothers, Robert (Janice) and John Henry Walker; son, Christopher N. Weeks. She is survived by her sister Missouri Lee Williams; children Melinda (Alan) Everette, David Weeks, Laverne (Darrel) Jernigan and Kelly Weeks; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
