George Bloom

George C. Bloom, resident of Williston, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Williston. He was 85. George was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to Roy and Irene Bloom. He joined the Air Force in 1955 and married his wife Myrtle Herb and was married for 65 years. Mr. Bloom retired as a Septa Bus Driver for 38 years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Florida where he became a Free Mason of 24 years and a member of the American Legion for over 50 years. George treated his wife Sissy like a queen and always said "yes dear" his whole life. He worshipped the ground she walked on. He loved his 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his 2 dogs Bo and Benny. George loved playing jokes with everyone and was the most lovable, caring, funny and helpful person that you have ever met. He would be there for anyone in a heartbeat. George will be missed and loved forever. Arrangements are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home of Williston.
