Rex Stevens

Mr. Rex Whitehurst Stevens passed away Friday, October 30th, 2020 at UF Health Shands in Gainesville, FL. He was 49. A lifelong resident of Williston, FL he was born in Gainesville, FL. Rex was a Christian and a farmer. In 1997 he was involved in an accident which left him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and farming, but his top priority was his family. Rex is survived by his father, Danny Stevens, mother, Beth Hubbard, ex-wife, Kim Schliessing, daughter, Skylar Jo Stevens; brother, Danny H. (Jeanie) Stevens; sister, Bethy (Robby) Proctor and five nephews, Justin and Brandon Edwards, Bryson, Jake and Garrett Proctor. A Graveside Service will be at 3:00 PM Monday, November 2nd, 2020 at the Wacahoota Cemetery (near Williston) with Rev. Wes Smith officiating.
