Mary Stewart

Mary Lou Stewart of Dowling Park Florida, passed away after a brief illness on October 6, 2020 in Lake City, Florida at the age of 77. Mary Lou was born on October 10, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio. After several great adventures as a long haul truck driver with her husband John, they settled in Chiefland, FL. There she worked for and retired from the State of Florida DOT Chiefland Maintenance yard. While working there she kept state bridge repairs on track and published the monthly newsletter. Mary Lou was proceeded in death by her Mother and Father Don (Gwenda) Kennard and her husband John Stewart. Survivors include her sister Carolyn Lee Kuehn of The Villages FL.; brother J.D (Vaunda) Kennard II, Arlington, TX; Nieces Robin (Kevin) Hebl, Renee (Shain) Buerk, and JJ (Candice) Kennard and many great nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday October 12, 2020 at Antioch cemetery outside of Chiefland, FL with Rev. Jamie Brock officiating.
