John Long, Jr.

Mr. John William Long, Jr. of Morriston, Florida, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 78. Mr. Long was born in Tachoma, Washington and he came to Morriston 30 years ago from California. He was a self-employed Gunsmith and a member of the NRA. His hobbies was working with guns and animals. His top priority was his family. Mr. Long is survived by his son, John William Long III (Kelly Marie), daughters, Kimberly Sue Norwood (Scott), Tiffany Danielle Stewart, step-daughters, Monica Elma Parson and Jennifer Lee Thomas, brother, Edward Long (Sheryl), sister, Barbara Shardine (Bob) and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Knauff Funeral Home Williston in charge of arrangements.
