Mr. James (Jimmy) Boyd, a lifelong resident of Chiefland, FL passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. He was 63. Jimmy was born on August 25, 1957. He lived in Chiefland his whole life. He was a hard-working, stubborn man who worked on various farms in the area. he loved hunting, running dogs, being outdoors and shirtless. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Vanessa (David) Bastow; son, James (Natalie McCraney) Boyd; and three grandchildren, Alex and Mallory Bastow and Braxton "Buckshot" Boyd. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mary Boyd. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Jimmy is under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland, FL (352)493-4777.
