Mrs. Elia A. Hernandez of Morriston, FL passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at the NFRMC in Gainesville, FL. She was 83. Born in Limonar, Cuba, she came to Morriston, FL 4 years ago from Clewiston, FL. Mrs. Hernandez was of the Catholic faith and she was a certified nursing assistant in the medical field for 25 years in the Miami, FL area. Her hobbies were gardening, dancing and decorating, but her top priority was always her family. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her son, Rayme (Jesenia) Hernandez; daughter, Ilena (Pedro) Hernandez; brothers, Seledonio Sosa and Silverio Sosa; sister, Ernestina Sosa and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home, Williston, FL (352)528-3481
