Delores Tierney

Mrs. Delores R. Tierney of Williston, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the Williston Rehab and Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 82. Born in Miami, Florida, she came to Williston five years ago from Inverness, Florida. Mrs. Tierney was of the Baptist faith. She was a horse trainer and judge for many years. She was the first female Paso Fino Judge and she judged internationally. She started the Everglades Appaloosas Horses Club in Miami during the seventies. Her hobbies were fishing, gardening, reading and cats, but her top priority was always her family. Delores is survived by son, John Michael Tierney, daughter, Lynn Lesousky (David), a sister, JoAnn Howard and four grandchildren. A memorial will be held at a later date.
