Virgil Settle

Mr. Virgil Rubell Settle a 20 year resident of Williston, FL passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL. He was 86. Born in Sikeston, MO he came to Williston, FL from Morriston, FL. Mr. Settle was a superintendent in the construction industry for 45 years where he had strong work ethics. His hobbies were auctions, hunting and mechanics, but his top priority was his family and friends. Mr. Settle is survived by his wife of 19 years, Charlon; two sons, Mark (Ruth) and Dwight (Shannon) Settle; four daughters, Frieda (Billy) Gilford, Janet (Rick) Lee, Barbara (Joey) Dulin and Rachel Arnold; two brothers, Bruce and Earl Settle; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home, Williston, FL (352)528-3481.
