Robert Morrow

Mr. Robert Edward Morrow of Chiefland, FL passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the Tri County Hospice Care Center in Chiefland, FL. He was 71. Born in Gulf Hammock, FL. He was the oldest of 9 children and raised by his grandmother Lois Jenkins Dauphin in Gilchrist Co., FL later moved to the Florida Keys before joining the Navy, after he returned to Gilchrist/Levy Co. where in 1976 he met and married Shanda Smith and continued to hold her hand and heart for 43 years. Mr. Morrow retired from Liberty National Insurance Co. In his spare time he enjoyed reading and being near the water. He loved his pets as they were family but his biggest enjoyment in life was spending time with Shanda. He never met a stranger and loved life, God and his country. He felt there was good in everyone: If you would just look, you could see it. His favorite quote by Vivian Greene was, "Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass... It's about learning how to dance in the rain." At the familys request the services will be private.
