Adelia Vachon

Mrs. Adelia Irene Vachon of Williston, FL passed away at her home May 6, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was 87. Born in Bath, Illinois she came to Williston, FL 25 years ago from Bath, Illinois. Mrs. Vachon was a registered nurse and she was a nurse for 66 years and during this time she taught nursing at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Illinois for 13 years. She was president of AARP Chapter for 2 years and her hobby was gardening and being with family. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Phillip; son, Franklin Williams; two daughters, Debbie (Robin) St. Clair and Cindy (Joe) Welch; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Knauff Funeral Home-Williston, FL in charge of arrangements.
