Jerry Hoopaugh

Mr. Jerry Lee Hoopaugh of Williston, FL passed away on April 7, 2020 at the E.T. York Hospice Care center in Gainesville, FL. He was 76. Born in Alexandria, LA, he came to Williston in 1976, however, in later years he lived in SC and Jacksonville, FL, returning to Williston in 2009. He was a painter in the construction business and his hobbies were gardening, woodworking and painting. He was a member of the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Williston, FL. Mr. Hoopaugh is survived by his two sons, Bryan (Janet) and Wayne (Laurie); four daughters, Jeannine (James) Holley, Misti Hoopaugh, Christina Hoopaugh and Victoria (Justin) Hazel; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his companion Sharon Hoopaugh in 2019 and son Robert G. Hoopaugh in 1994. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Knauff Funeral Home, Williston, FL in charge of arrangements.
