Patrick Hart

Patrick Dennis Hart was born to life on December 30, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was born to eternal life on December 5, 2025, in Ocala, Florida.

Patrick was affectionately known as “Dad”, “Pat”, “Pippy”, and “Grandpa Pat”. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, and cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

As a Boilerman-Fireman in the United States Navy, Pat served aboard the USS O'Kanegan during the Vietnam War and was a plank owner of the USS St. Louis (LKA-116). On February 16, 1977, he married Rene' A. Rateau, and together they raised three beautiful children: Shawn, Kelly, and Doug.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Maher; sisters Ruthie Maher and Joyce Hart; brother John Maher; daughter Shawn Hart; granddaughter Lee Sattler; niece Lisa Hart; and nephew Josh Maher.

He is survived by his wife, Rene' Hart; daughter Kelly and son-in-law Walter Bell, along with their children Calvin (Nisa), Leah, and Erin; and son Doug and daughter-in-law Crystal Hart, along with their children Quade, Ruby, and Tuscan. He is also survived by his siblings Robert Hart, Sally (Allan) Maas, James Maher, and Thomas Maher; grandchildren Terri Brodell and Alfred Sattler; and great-grandchildren Lucas and Maddilynn Bell. Pat leaves behind many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family members, and countless friends.

He will be missed but never forgotten.
