Lint Jerrels

Lint Williams Jerrels Sr., was born in Gainesville, Fla. on September 12, 1957. He passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2019 at his home in Bronson, Fla. at the age of 62. He was a 1975 graduate of Bronson High School. After graduation, he went to work for Carl Brice at Kanapaha Ranch in Archer, Fla. In 1984, he went to work for Whitehurst Cattle Company where he was a farm manager. He liked farming, but his passion was cowboying. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and watching his grand babies grow. He could always be found with "the wise men" at either Julies Diner or A&A restaurants. He was preceded in death by his parents Junior and Geneva Jerrels. He is survived by his three children Tara (Don) Campbell, Tiffany (James) Owens and Lint (Jaime) Jerrels and eight grandchildren Shelby Owens, Garrett Campbell, Chesney Owens, Payton Campbell, Savanna Jerrels, Claire Vivian Jerrels, Aubrey James Owens and Lash Jerrels. He also cared for his friend Cindy Hamilton. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Knauff Funeral Home in Chiefland. Funeral will be Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Bronson First Baptist Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the Robinson/Jerrels Cemetery (behind Rosemary Hill Cemetery) in Bronson. Family and friends are invited to join together for lunch at the Jerrels family home on CR 337 North following the services.
