Freddie Trail

Freddie Mae Trail of Chiefland, FL passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Tri County Nursing Home in Trenton, FL. She was 89. Freddie Mae was a lifelong resident of Gilchrist Co. where she was a member of the North East Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, mother, and caregiver, she was a Christian and blessed to have worked for Christian people. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, embroidery and gardening, but her family was always her main priority. She is survived by her son, James C. Smith; her daughters, Ginger Jenkins and Virginia Jordan; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Bethel Church of Christ in Bell, FL. Mrs. Trail is under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland, FL (352)493-4777.
