Herbert Allen Wilkerson, a resident of Bronson, Florida, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the age of 76.
He was born on December 3, 1949, in Miami, Florida, to the late Henry and Florence Wilkerson. Herbert relocated to Bronson in 1969, where he spent many years of his life.
Herbert is preceded in death by his great nephew Josh Wilkerson. He is survived by his niece, Debra Woodward, nephew, Mark Wilkerson, and great nephews Caleb Wilkerson, Seth Wilkerson, and Jonathon Wilkerson. He is also survived by one great great nephew and four great great nieces.
Arrangements are entrusted to Weems & Sons Funeral Home of Chiefland, Florida.

I only knew him for a very short time but during that very short time, he taught me what it’s like to truly be thankful for the smallest things in life. Things such as a quick phone call or visit, a home cooked meal, being able to celebrate holidays/birthday and having friends. He had all of that the last couple of weeks of his life and I’ll be forever thankful for the time we had together. He will be missed. Fly high Herbert, you were very loved!
