Obituary
Peyton Perry Dowdy, 69, of Chiefland, FL passed away on June 14th, 2019 at 3:34 PM. He is survived by his wife, Ruthella Jean Dowdy; sons, Gary Ray Walker and Todd Greyson Myers; daughter, Betty Skinner; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many other family and friends, like his best friend Benny. He devoted his life to caring for and loving his wife. His last wish before leaving this world was to say goodbye to his sweetheart. His family will miss him deeply. The family will have a Memorial Gathering on July 21st. The family asks that you contact them for place and time. Mr. Dowdy is under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home-Chiefland, FL. (352)493-4777.
