Obituary
It is with extraordinary sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Ladonna Sue Blumenberg, age 89. Ladonna passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in Gainesville, Florida.
Born on February 24, 1936 in Frankfort, Indiana the oldest of five children born to Roe E. Freeman and Vera V. Freeman. Ladonna married Charles T. Blumenberg on December 15, 1961 in Miami, Florida. She retired from the Levy County School District after over 20 years as a diligent custodian at Chiefland High School.
She is survived by her five children, Howell J. Tuten, Rita S. Blumenberg, Toney R. Tuten, Charles T. Blumenberg, Jr., Robert J. Blumenberg, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by two children, Bonnie K. Tuten, and Roe T. Tuten. She will forever remain in our hearts.
The Blumenberg family will receive friends on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Weems & Sons Funeral Home in Chiefland, Florida.
