Robert Brown

Mr. Robert John Brown of Bronson, FL passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 30, 2018 at Shands of UF in Gainesville, FL. He was 76. Born in Montague, MA, he has lived in Bronson, FL since 2005. Mr. Brown served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Eagles, American Legion Post 236, and the Moose Lodge #325. He was a retired mechanic enjoyed to travel, dance, sing karaoke, but his top priority was always his family. He is predeceased by his parents, Nora A. and Harry G. Brown and brothers Jimmy, Donald and Harry Brown survived by his companion Grace Fowble, sons Robert (Marie) Brown Jr. of NH, Michael Brown of NH, David Densmore of NH, daughters Diane (Al) Dishon of NY, Debra Goforth and fianc Peter Winter of Williston, FL , brother Kevin Brown of NH, sisters Barbara Woodward of MA, Margaret Connell, Mildred, 5 grandchildren Shane Brown of NH, Jennifer Brown/Bassle of NH, Logan Dishon of Corinth NY, Eric and Abby Timmons of NH and 3 great grandchildren Kainoa, Iniko, and Ariela Bassle, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service with military honors will be at 3:00 PM on December 15, 2018 and a gathering of family and friends from 12:00-3:00 PM at the American Legion Post #236 Bronson, FL. In lieu of flowers make donations to American Legion Post #236 of Bronson, FL. Mr. Brown is under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home- Chiefland, FL.
