Samuel Polumbo Jr.

Samuel Polumbo Jr. 79 of Grant, FL passed away November 8, 2018. Sammy, as family and friends knew him was born to Samuel Polumbo Sr. and Lola W. Cadorette July 12, 1939. After graduation he entered the US Navy. When he returned home he went to work for Florida Power and Light where he retired after 30years. He had several hobbies, and enjoyed traveling with his wife Sigrid on their yacht "The Beluga" Mr. Polumbo is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Sigrid T. Polumbo, his parents, and brother William F. Polumbo. He is survived by his son Samuel C. Polumbo, 3 sisters, 1 brother, several nieces and nephews, a granddaughter and 4 great-grandchildren. Military services will be held at 11:30 on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida. Arrangements are under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home-Chiefland, FL.
