George Adams

Mr. George E. Adams, Sr., 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Williston, Florida on Sunday, September 30, 2018. He was born October 8, 1938, in Jacksonville, FL. George was a sheet metal worker by trade and a member of the 435 Union Hall. George also was a Cattleman, Farmer and avid Hunter. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mildred S. Adams, three sons, Eddie Adams, Jr., Jimmy Gladwell, III (Martha), Quincy Adams (Jennifer), one daughter Sally Holton (Edward), three brothers John Adams (Kathy), Tom Adams (Linda), Buck Adams, four sisters Glory Gay Higginbotham, Anna Ingram, Laura Bryan, and Cynthia McKee, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. George attended Cornerstone Assembly of God in Williston, FL. George had a heart for the Lord. He was always willing to share his faith with one and all. Funeral services are as follows: Wednesday, October 3rd at Westside Family Worship Center, 9717 103rd St, Jacksonville, Florida. Viewing for immediate family at 9:30 am Visitation for family and friends 10 to 11 Service from 11 to 12. Graveside service will be at Orange Hill Cemetery, 3240 NE 180th Avenue, Williston, Florida at 3:00 pm. Funeral Services will be handled by Knauff Funeral Home in Williston, FL.
