Obituary

Drucilla Tillis Clemons passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at N. FL Regional after a long battle of cancer. Drucilla was a lifelong resident of Chiefland. Drucilla was born September 15, 1961 to Harold and Melba Tillis. She was a retired nurse from the VA hospital in Gainesville. She was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Chiefland and the Joy Sunday School Class. Drus love was going to the beach, gardening, reading her bible, but her top priorities were her family and helping others. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Clemons, her father Harold Tillis, and son Jeremy Clemons. She is survived by her mother Melba Tillis, her sons Jason Tillis, Joshua Clemons, Joseph Clemons, brothers and sisters Murray (Karen), Terry, Jackie (Rob), Gail (Mike), Marilyn (Zim), 5 grandchildren Kainen, Keaston, Bricen, Avery, Jeremy. Her dear friends Joe Thomas, Ann Brown, Carolyn Davis, Marion Parker, Maurice Corbin, Stanley Fisher. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist in Chiefland with Pastor Gordon Keller officiating. Burial will follow at the Tillis family cemetery in Chiefland. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service from 10:00 11:00. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society or Joy Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Chiefland. Arrangement are under the care of the Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland, FL. SERVICES
