Lindon Lindsey

LINDON J. LINDSEY, 92, of Chiefland, passed quietly on Thursday, September 6, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born in Cedar Key, Florida, on August 6, 1926, Lindon was one of nine children born to Lindon Harrison Lindsey and his wife, Effie (Curry) Lindsey. He was a member of the Chiefland Baptist Church. Lindon is survived by two sons and a daughter. Don Lindsey and his wife Terry and Wayne Lindsey and his wife Eileen, both of Chiefland; and Mary Alice Goss and her companion, John Rice, of Bell. There are four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. A viewing will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the Knauff Funeral Home, 715 W. Park Avenue, Chiefland, FL. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 10 at the Shiloh Cemetery, Shiloh Road, Sumner, Florida.
