Ronald Brooks

Mr. Ronald Clayton Brooks, a resident of Williston, Florida, passed away Monday, August 27th, 2018 at his home. He was 45. Born in Gainesville, Florida, Mr. Brooks lived most of his life in Williston, where he was a farmer. For the past year he owned and operated the Farmhouse Restaurant in Ocala. He was a member of the Williston Church of Christ. He graduated from Williston High School, then going to the University of Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness. His hobbies were anything outdoors, fishing, hunting, and he was an avid Gator fan, but he always made time for his family. Survivors are: mother, Sonja Baird Brooks; 2 sons, Wyatt Robert Brooks and Ronald Clayton "RC" Brooks; 2 brothers, Phillip "Shane" Brooks and wife Dina, and Todd Van Brooks; and 1 sister, Sonja Shianne Brooks. He was pre-deceased by: maternal grandparents, Eula Dehart & Clayton Baird, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Burke & Lorene Brooks. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1st, 2018 graveside at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Morriston, Florida. with Pastor Danny Carswell officiating.
