Ben Brockman

Ben R. Brockman of Chiefland, FL passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was 73. Moving from Sumter, SC to the Chiefland area in 1990. Ben was retired after 26 years with the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Rebel Post 5625, where he was the bingo and kitchen chairman. In his spare time he enjoyed watching tv, reading and playing Yahtzee. He was a very loving father and grandfather. He is predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife Rosann Brockman, daughters Michele Brockman and Kristy Bartley, brothers Jimmy, Joseph and Pete Brockman, sisters Lois Willman, Joyce Ward and Jean De Graffenreid, and 4 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Knauff Funeral Home Chapel in Chiefland, FL. There will be a gathering prior to the service from 9:00-11:00 AM.
