Doris Beauchamp

Doris Barnhill Beauchamp Doris Barnhill Beauchamp, 89, of Chiefland, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. A lifelong resident of Levy County, she was born on January 10, 1929 to Byrd and Annie Barnhill at Linnen, which was near Bronson. Mrs. Beauchamp was a member of First Baptist Church of Chiefland. For over 68 years, she was a member of the Curryville Homemakers Club. She also served many years on the Levy County Extension Advisory Board, the Suwannee Valley Happy Gardeners Club and the Log Cabin Quilters. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd O. Beauchamp, Sr. and a great-granddaughter Brittni Scoggins. Mrs. Beauchamp is survived by sons, Lloyd O. (Ibri Jone) Beauchamp, Jr. of Chiefland, Michael A. Beauchamp of Chiefland, and a daughter, Cindy Jo (John) Beauchamp Ayers of Trenton. She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Tammi Beauchamp, Cammi Beauchamp, Alan Beauchamp, Lan Beauchamp, John Beauchamp, Carrie Ayers Mizell and J. Ayers. She also had 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral and burial will be private. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Monday, May 7, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall at First Baptist Church of Chiefland.
