Mattie Mowrer

Mrs. Mattie W. Mowrer, of Morriston, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at her home. She was 88. Born in West Virginia, she came to Morriston 25 years ago from Pennsylvania. She was a Baptist by faith and was a laborer in a vegetable cannery in Pennsylvania for several years before her retirement. Her hobbies were knitting, animals, and gardening, but her top priority was her family. She leaves her husband, Robert; 3 sons, Rodger Dill, David Dill, and Michael Dill; and 1 daughter, Shirley Ann Messenger. A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
