Doris Atkinson

Doris Lee Atkinson of Trenton, FL passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Tri County Nursing Home in Trenton. She was 87. Doris has lived in the Trenton area since 2012 and was an active member of the Trenton Church of Christ. Moving from Bradenton, FL where she had worked as a registered nurse for the Manatee County Health Department for 25 years. Doris loved her late husband Bob and her family. And in her spare time she enjoyed gardening. Doris is survived by her sons Robert M. (Nancy) Atkinson of Myaka City, FL, and Gregory (Tammy) Atkinson of Bradenton, FL; her daughters Dianne (Steve) Harrell of Palm Harbor, FL, and Renee (Tim) Hastings of Trenton, FL, and 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 1:00 PM at the Trenton Church of Christ, Trenton, FL with Everritt Heaton officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland, FL. SERVICES
