Dear Smith-Colemans, Kev, the strongest man I have ever known. I never went to see him that I did not leave uplifted in spite of all he was going throug. As I sit here typing I remember the time after and during the Marine service when Kev, Vernon and Maj, were at their most of all time fun, handsome time of their life. The 3 amigos. So glad I have those happy memories and Maj, was the Dance King. Kev. had his tragic accident and survived and never once did I see him or hear him say poor me. He has shown me true bravery in living a life well lived no matter what is dealt. I cherish those times and remember only the big smile and warm hug he always gave me. I want to live more like Kev. I want to make my family close and stay close just like Kev and you all have done. I love you each and every member of this strong loving family. God speed dear Kev. You lived your life true to your Marine pledge "to be all you could be". In his great love for us all, DiDi Seize the day family just like Kev, did.
