Howard Cook

Mr. Howard R. "Bob" Cook, a 59 year resident of Williston, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at his home in Williston. He was 87. Born in Albany, New York, he owned and operated Cook's Auto Mart in Williston for 58 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. His hobbies were care racing and fishing, but his top priority was his family. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of 67 years; 2 daughters, Laura and husband Cal Byrd, and Suzanna and husband Harold Benka; 1 son, Jeffrey and wife Paulette Cook; 1 sister, Linda and husband James Polverelli; 11 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Knauff Funeral Home Chapel in Williston. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Reverend George Douglas officiating. Burial will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery under the direction of Knauff Funeral Home - Williston.
