Madonna Gorrell

Mrs. Madonna Edgar Gorrell, a long time resident of Williston, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Opis Bayview Center in Eustis, Florida. She was 102 years old. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she came to Williston in 2008 from Fort Myers, Florida. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston and was a proof-reader for the National Geological Society for many years. Her hobbies were reading, sewing, and canning, but her top priority was family. Survivors are: 2 sons, James Edgar Gorrell and David George Gorrell; 3 daughters, Karen Carter, Jeanne Marshall, Judy Infinger, and Beth Orlowski; several brothers and sisters; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston, with Father Manny Lopez officiating.
