Frances Efferen

Frances Ann Efferen of Chiefland, FL passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in her home. She was 85. Moving from New Rochelle, New York Mrs. Efferen has been a resident of the Chiefland area for 54 years. She was a Baptist and a member of the Hardeetown Baptist Church. She worked as a teachers aide for the Bronson schools for 37 years. And in her spare time she enjoyed reading, decorating, crossword puzzles, watching old movies, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Efferen is survived by her son Walter Joseph Efferen (Shelia) of Gainesville, FL, her daughters Donna Efferen Cohoon of Bronson, FL and JoAnn Phyllis Hardee (Al) of Chiefland, FL, her brother Frank James Martorana of Chiefland, FL, sister Josephine Hendrie of New York, and 4 grandchildren, Monica, Caleb, Michael and Justin and 3 great grandchildren, Justin Jr., Dakota, and Aiden. A service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at 2:00 PM, at the Hardeetown Baptist Church, Chiefland, FL with Rev. Tom Keisler officiating.
