Obituary

Sharon Louise (Dietrich) Kline passed into the loving arms of her Savior on October 23, 2025, at The Village memory care community in Gainesville, Florida. She was 84. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard (Dick) Kline and daughters Debbie (Hal) Phillips of Williston, FL, and Shari (Brian) Nederhoff of McKinney, TX, and a brother Bob (Wendy) Silcox of Reading, PA. She was preceded in death by her brother Peter (Elaine) Dietrich.

Her greatest joy was her four grandchildren, Elizabeth Nederhoff Williams (Dalton), Harrell Phillips III (Jessica), Hannah Nederhoff Gosz (Jonny) and Charles Phillips. She was an extraordinary “Mimi”!

Sharon was born in Reading, PA, grew up in Temple, and graduated from Muhlenberg High School, where she enjoyed cheerleading. She was a secretary for John Hancock Insurance until settling into her role as full-time mom and homemaker, at which she excelled. She established homes in Maryland, Kentucky, Florida, California and Pennsylvania, encompassing more than 20 different moves during her lifetime. She had a passion for Bible Study Fellowship, taught Sunday School and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Easton, PA, for the past 28 years. Her favorite travel destination was her beach house, “Memories”, in Sunset Beach, NC, where family reunions have been held annually for the past 20+ years.

She will be remembered for her generosity that knew no bounds, a welcoming heart that made every guest feel like family and a fun spirit that filled every room with laughter. Sharon will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

I really was grateful to have taken care of Ms. Sharon over the past few months that she's been a resident here at Azalea Trace. I always loved her smile and would tell her how beautiful it was. I always encouraged her and she did as well encouraged others when she was feeling good that day. She will be missed by all of the staff here at Azalea Trace. We will be praying for all of the family and our deepest condolences go out to you all. If you ever need anything just reach out to us and we're more than happy to assist you. Love you all. God bless
