Marvin Griffith, Jr.

Marvin Kenneth Griffith, Jr., of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on October 3rd, 2025.

He was born on September 2, 1947, in Gainesville, Florida, to Marvin "Kenneth" Griffith Sr. and Jeanette Griffith. Known to his friends and family as "Bo", he grew up in Williston, Florida, and attended Williston High School, where he excelled at multiple sports. He later attended Auburn University, where he met his wife, Linda. After graduation, they moved to Jacksonville, Florida. He was known for his strong work ethic and loyalty to his friends and family. He was the dad and granddad who always attended everyone's games, no matter rain or shine. Bo enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including hunting, fishing, golf, tennis and cheering on his beloved Tigers. War Eagle!

He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his sense of humor, and his devotion to family. He is survived by his mother Jeanette, daughters Gayla and Jenny; his grandchildren Callie, Kale, Sage and Lily; his siblings Sheila and Bill, as well as his nieces and nephews. 

Bo will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025.
