Pearl Smith

Pearl (Grace) Smith of Gulf Hammock, FL passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Tri County Nursing Home in Trenton, FL. She was 88. Grace was born in Dunnellon, FL on November 27, 1929 to Julian and Nettie Risher and was a life time resident in Levy County. She was an employee of Levy County School Board for 33 years, she had many titles. She was a member of the Otter Creek Baptist Church, a loving mother and always shared the love of Jesus with everyone. Grace is predeceased by her husband Reginal Vernon (RV) Smith; brothers Travick and Jack Risher; sisters Judy and Nancy Jean Risher and daughters Janice Linda Smith and Pearl Louise Barber. She is survived by her 5 daughters Audrey Mae Castell (George) of Orange Park, FL, Lois Annette Livingston (Tommy) of Chiefland, FL, Aline Marie Smith of Trenton, FL, Dolores Inez Worthington of Williston, FL, Constance (Connie) Frances Ward (Gerald) of Chiefland, FL; son in law Milton Barber of Gulf Hammock, FL; 2 brothers Jimmy Risher and JT Risher; 1 sister Shirley Risher (Gerock) all from Inglis, FL; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 PM with service starting at 2:30 PM on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at the Otter Creek Baptist Church, Otter Creek, FL with Pastor Billy Keith officiating. Interment following at Rosemary Cemetery in Bronson, FL. Arrangements are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home- Chiefland, FL. SERVICES
