Richard Kluser

Mr. Richard William Kluser, of Bronson, Florida, passed away at his home Wednesday, October 25, 2017. He was 87. Born in Portland, Oregon, he came to Bronson in 1997 from Lake City, Florida. Mr. Kluser proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 28 years. He served in Korea and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He received numerous medals including the Gold Star and two Purple Hearts. Following his retirement from the service, he joined the Beaufort, South Carolina Police Deptartment, where he served for 10 years. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston, FL, a member of the Moose Lodge, the D.A.V.'s, the Fleet Reserve, and the Knights of Columbus. His hobbies were fishing, cooking, and being active in his church. Survivors include: wife, Maria Kluser; 2 sons, Richard W. Jr., and Clifton L.; 4 daughters, Lorna Girtman, Joan Oramas, Debbie Hensley, Carol Lynn D'Armond, and Darla Robinson; 1 step-son, Buddy St. Pierre; 3 step-daughters, Sharon Scianimanico, Betsy Wenzel, and Lynn Redves, 1 sister, Delores Soward; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2017, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston, Florida with Father Manny Lopez officiating. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements. SERVICES Funeral Service
