Obituary
Mr. Marvin "Tom" Thompson, of Williston, Florida, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the V.A. Medical Center in Gainesville. He was 84. Survivors are: his wife, Jacquelyn; 2 sons, Allan C. Thompson and Terry N. and wife Ursula Thompson; 2 daughters, Peggy and husband Steve Mayo, and Brenda and husband Anthony Freese; 2 brothers, Tommy Thompson and wife Terri, and Billy Thompson and wife Gerda; 1 sister, Anita DeFrank; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Highlands Baptist Church with Pastor Stanley Alvey officiating. Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements.
