Obituary

Karen Marie St. Pierre, 68, of Williston, FL, passed away at her home on September 16, 2025, after a long illness.

Born on July 19, 1957, in Michigan, Karen was one of ten children. She grew up in South Florida and later settled in Williston, where she lived for over 40 years. In 1988, she married the love of her life, Buddy St. Pierre. Karen dedicated many years of her life to public service, working for the City of Gainesville Mosquito Control from 1985 until her retirement in 2018.

A devoted woman of faith, Karen was a longtime and cherished member of the Williston Church of God. She loved Jesus and spent her time serving His Kingdom. She had a true servants heart, was a prayer warrior, and God's love poured from her. She had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed traveling, often finding peace and joy in God's creation. Above all, Karen's greatest passion was her family. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, Normand (Buddy) St. Pierre, and her children: Shawn, Jason, Normand, Craig, Carrie, and Kyle. She was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to one great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her parents, Willard and Blanche Turnpaugh, and her brothers, Tony and Paul.

A service to celebrate Karen's life will be held on Friday, September 19th at 11 A.M. at Church of God in Williston, Florida. Brother Wes Smith will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Williston Church of God Youth.

Arrangements are entrusted to Weems and Sons Funeral Homes, 512 East Noble Avenue Williston, Florida 32696.

I didn't see Karen much over the years as I am a Michigan cousin. But the most memorable thing I remember is her beautiful smile. She could sure light up a room with her radiance. So sorry for her family. She is now in the arms of our Lord. I hope in some way this gives them some peace. Ginny Hultquist from Michigan God Bless
