I was Vernon's first cousin, from Lake Wales. His Dad was my Uncle Bill, my Dad's brother. Vernon was 10 years older than me and I had not seen him in many years until his Brother Tim's funeral in 2003.
I actualky tried to track him down over the last year or so, but did not know where was living or any one that knew how. Just found out today, 12/08/25 when I was reading Tim's obituary & I searched his name under obituaries in Fanning Springs. My condolences to the Family.
