Laura Hunt

Laura Griffin Hunt, 46, passed from this earthly life on May 23, 2017, after a long, brave battle with breast cancer. Laura earned her masters degree from the University of Florida and was a loving teacher and librarian at Joyce Bullock Elementary School for 24 years. She was a faithful member of the Williston Church of God. Laura is survived by her husband of 21 years Shawn Hunt; daughter Madison Hunt; mother Patricia Griffin; mother-in-law Diane Hunt; sisters Missy (Russell) Seay and Tracy Newsome; and nephews Parker Seay, Tyler Newsome, Brendan and Ethan Devaul. Laura was preceded in death by her father Marion "Griff" Griffin. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 26th, 2017 at the Williston Church of God with Pastor Wes Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery with Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements. SERVICES Funeral Service
