It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, son, brother, and friend, a truly dedicated commercial fisherman, who peacefully departed from this world, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love, unwavering hard work, and a treasure trove of cherished memories. His departure marks the end of an era, but his spirit will forever remain etched in our hearts.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sylvia Brown, and his father, Allison Jesse Brown Senior, who instilled in him the values of family and perseverance. He also leaves behind his brother, Russel, who shared countless adventures and a lifelong bond; his nephew, Nick, and niece, Rosie, who brought immense joy to his life; his three sons, Jesse, Varnell, and Bernard, each a testament to his guidance and love; his daughter, Alexandrea, who inherited his gentle spirit; his granddaughter, Elia, the apple of his eye; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will forever hold him in their hearts. His life was deeply defined by an unyielding passion for the water. As a commercial fisherman, he spent countless hours skillfully navigating the unpredictable seas, providing not only for his family but also contributing to the community he loved. His expertise and dedication to his craft were evident in every catch, every voyage, and every story he shared. Beyond his demanding profession, he was an avid outdoorsman, finding solace, inspiration, and immense joy in the simple pleasures of arrowhead hunting, fishing, and immersing himself in the serene beauty of nature. His connection to the natural world was profound, and he found peace in its embrace.

His infectious love for the outdoors was a gift he shared generously, instilling in his children a deep and abiding appreciation for the wonders of the natural world. He taught them to respect and cherish the environment, fostering a sense of stewardship that will endure for generations. He will be eternally remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his remarkable strong work ethic, and his gentle, compassionate spirit. His memory will continue to live on through the countless stories shared, the laughter echoing in our hearts, and the boundless love he gave so freely to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed by all, but his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us in the days, months, and years to come.

A graveside service will be held at the Shiloh Cemetery on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11am with Brother Barry Coker officiating.
