Nettie Brewington

Mrs. Nettie Mae Brewington, of Morriston, Florida, passed away Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 at the Legacy Hospice Care Center in Ocala, Florida. She was 95. Born in Bronson, Florida, was a lifelong resident of Levy County. She taught school in Levy County for over 30 years before her retirement in 1981. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Ocala and was a member of the Eastern Star in Chiefland, Florida. She loved her church and gardening but her top priority was her family. Survivors are: 1 son, William Vaughn Brewington, Sr. and wife Kathy; 1 sister, Ruby Pantella; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 24th, 2017 in the chapel of Knauff Funeral Home - Williston, Florida. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Brother Wayne Yancey and Brother Dennis Hoar will be officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Morriston. Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements.
