Mr. Charles C. Miles, Sr. of Williston, Florida passed away January 24, 2017 at Shands Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. He was 69. Born in Fayetteville, Tennessee, he came to Williston in 1987 from Dawson Springs, Florida. He was a builder and loved to build and be outside; he was a fixer and could fix anything. He leaves his wife, Betty Miles; 3 sons. John, Mike, and Charles, Jr.; 3 daughters, Lisa Dawley, Laurie Treacy, and Barbara Miles; 6 brothers; 3 sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, with Pastor Bill Slaughter officiating.
