Carol Williams

Mrs. Carol Ruth Ulmer Williams, of Williston, passed away Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 at Shands Medical Center in Gainesville. She was 71. Born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, she grew up and graduated from Bronson High School and came to Williston 45 years ago. She was a member of the Williston Church of God. She was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service working out of the Archer, Florida Post Office for 23 years. Her hobbies were gardening and her pets, but her top priority was spending time with her family. Survivors are: 3 daughters, April and husband Joe Williams, Terri and husband James Williams, Michelle and husband James Heddins; 1 brother, Gary and wife Shirley Ulmer; 1 sister, Joyce Sears; 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Scott, Kristi; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her grandaughter, Ashley; her brother, Butch; and nephews Chris and Eric. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Williston Church of God with Pastor Wes Smith officiating. Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements.
